By accessing or using MoreMind ("Service", "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
Description of Service
MoreMind provides AI-powered research assistance: it finds and verifies sources, analyses data, builds figures and formats drafts. You write your own work, approve every change, and remain responsible for what you submit. The Service includes, but is not limited to:
- Finding and verifying academic sources
- Data analysis and figure building
- Citation management and formatting in 2,500+ styles
- Draft formatting, grammar and style checking
- Plagiarism checking
User Accounts
Registration
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Account Responsibility
- Responsible for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
- Must be at least 13 years old to use
- One person or entity per account
Acceptable Use
Permitted Uses
- Academic research and writing assistance
- Personal educational purposes
- Professional research activities
Prohibited Uses
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Use the Service for academic dishonesty, including submitting work you did not write as your own
- Circumvent academic integrity policies or plagiarism and AI-detection checks
- Harass, abuse, or harm others
- Distribute malware or harmful content
- Reverse engineer or exploit the Service
- Resell or redistribute Service access
Academic Integrity
Important: Our Service is designed to assist with research and academic writing, not to write your work for you or enable academic dishonesty. Users must:
- Write their own arguments and approve every change to their work
- Properly attribute and cite all sources
- Follow their institution's academic integrity policies
- Take responsibility for all submitted work
- Review and verify all AI-generated content
Intellectual Property
Service Content
The Service, including all software, algorithms, designs, and trademarks, is owned by MoreMind and protected by intellectual property laws.
User Content
- You retain ownership of content you create
- You grant us a license to process and store your content
- We never use your content to train AI models
- We do not claim ownership of your academic work
Subscription and Payment
Subscription Plans
- Free plan, plus monthly and yearly billing on paid plans
- Student plan requires verification with a university email
- Prices subject to change with 30 days notice
Free Trial
- 7-day free trial on the Student and Pro plans
- No card needed to start a trial
- Reminder email on day 5 of the trial
- Nothing renews automatically: the trial ends without charge unless you choose to pay
Billing
- Payments are processed by Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, PayPal)
- Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly billing period until you cancel
- You can cancel at any time in your account settings; cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for
- Failed payments may suspend service
Refunds
- 30-day money-back guarantee after you pay

Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- Service provided "AS IS" without warranties
- Not liable for indirect or consequential damages
- Total liability limited to amounts paid in last 12 months
- Not responsible for academic outcomes or institution decisions
Termination
Termination by You
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
Termination by Us
We may terminate if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Fail to pay subscription fees
- Abuse or misuse the Service
Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.
Arbitration
Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with American Arbitration Association rules.
