QUICK PEEKDATA TO FIGURE
Make a scatter plot with a regression line, online.
Paste two columns of numbers to draw a labelled scatter or line plot with a least-squares regression line and its 95% confidence band. You also get n, slope, intercept, Pearson's r, R² and the slope's p value, and can download the figure as SVG or PNG.

FIG 2HOW TO USE
How to use the scatter plot maker
- 01 →Paste two columnsx then y, straight from a spreadsheet or as CSV. Put the variable names in the first row to label the axes.
- 02 →Choose the plotScatter or line, with or without the regression line and its 95% band. The statistics and an APA-style line update as you type.
- 03Download or shareSave the figure as SVG or PNG (with or without the small credit), or share a link that redraws the same figure.

FIG 4QUESTIONS
Scatter plots and regression: common questions
What exactly is computed?
An ordinary least-squares line y = a + bx; Pearson's r and R²; and a two-sided t-test of the slope with n − 2 degrees of freedom. The p value comes from the t distribution, computed with the regularized incomplete beta function. You need at least three points and some spread in x.
What is the shaded band around the line?
The 95% confidence interval for the mean of y at each x: where the true regression line is likely to lie. It is not a prediction interval for single new points, which would be wider. It is drawn across the range of your x values only.
How should I paste my data?
Two columns, x then y, one row per point, separated by a tab, semicolon, comma or spaces, so you can paste straight from a spreadsheet. If the first row isn't two numbers it is used as the axis labels (underscores become spaces). Other rows that aren't two numbers are skipped and counted.
Can I put the figure in my report?
Yes. Download SVG for a vector file that stays sharp at any size (Word, Google Docs, PowerPoint and most journals' figure tools accept it) or PNG for a 1920 × 1260 px image. A small moremind.ai credit sits in the corner; untick the box to remove it before downloading.
Scatter or line plot?
Use a scatter plot when each row is an independent observation. A line plot joins the points in order of x, which suits measurements over time or another ordered variable. The regression line and its statistics are the same either way.
Is my data uploaded?
No. Parsing, the statistics and the drawing all happen in your browser. If you press Share result, the numbers and axis labels are written into the link itself, so anyone who opens it, and our server, which draws the page and its preview image, sees them.
